Spell School Training
Cost: 5 Character Points
Choose one spell school. You are considered to be trained in the casting of spells of this school. You add +1d to your attack rolls and spellcasting skill when casting a spell from this school.
If you have +1d to a score, such as spellcasting skill, then this grants a bonus to the score. The second die in your pool grants +4 to your score, the third +2 and +1 thereafter to a maximum total dice pool modifier of +10.

You learn one cantrip from your chosen spell school. The cantrip must be from either the Arcane Spell List, or the Divine Spell List, depending on your spellcasting type. If you practice both arcane and divine spellcasting, then you can choose a cantrip from either list, but still only learn one cantrip from your chosen school.
Spell School Expertise
Cost: 15 Character Points
Prerequisite: Spell School Training and a d6 Power Die
Choose one spell school that you are trained to cast spells from. You are considered to be an expert in the casting of spells of this school. You add an additional +1d to your attack rolls and spellcasting skill when casting a spell from this school, for a total of +2d.
You learn a second cantrip from your chosen spell school. This cantrip must also be from the same spell list as your spellcasting type. If you practice both arcane and divine spellcasting, then you can choose a cantrip from either list, but still only learn one cantrip from your chosen school.
Spell School Mastery
Cost: 35 Character Points
Prerequisite: Spell School Expertise and a d10 Power Die
Choose one spell school that you are an expert in casting spells from. You are considered to be a master of this spell school. You add an additional +1d to your attack rolls and spellcasting skill when casting a spell from this school, for a total of +3d.
You learn a third cantrip from your chosen spell school. THis cantrip must also be from the same spell list as your spellcasting type. If you practice both arcane and divine spellcasting, then you can choose a cantrip from either list, but still only learn one cantrip from your chosen school.
