Manfest Paradox

Cost: 15 Character Points
Prerequisite: Combat Superiority
Actions: 1

You can magically manifest a paradoxical copy of yourself in an unoccupied space that you can see within 15 feet of you. This paradox is a magical, translucent, grey image of you that lasts until it is destroyed, you dismiss it (no action required), you manifest another echo, or you’re incapacitated.

Your paradox has defenses matching your own, 1 stamina and immunity to all conditions. It is the same size as you and occupies its space. If your image is ever more than 30 feet from you at the end of your turn, then it is destroyed.

You can use your paradox in the following ways:

  • Whenever you take the Stride action, you may instead move your paradox.
  • Whenever you take Strike action, that Strike may originate from your space or from your paradox’s space.
  • Creatures moving near your paradox provoke an Attack of Opportunity, as though you were occupying that space.
  • As an action, you can teleport, magically swapping places with your paradox.

Paradoxical Avatar

Cost: 25 Character Points
Prerequisite: Manifest Paradox
Actions: 1

You can temporarily transfer your consciousness to your paradox.

You can see through your paradox’s eyes and hear through its ears. During this time, you are deafened and blinded. You can sustain this effect for up to 10 minutes and you can end it at any time (no action required). While your paradox is being used in this way, it can be up to 1,000 feet away from you without being destroyed.

Shadow Martyr

Cost: 30 Character Points
Prerequisite: Paradoxical Avatar

You can make your paradox throw itself in front of an attack directed at another creature that you can see. You can Guard an ally up to 30 feet away using your paradox. If the guarded ally is hit, your paradox takes the damage instead.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Reclaim Potential

Cost: 65 Character Points
Prerequisite: Shadow Martyr

You’ve learned to absorb the fleeting magic of your paradox.

When a paradox of yours is destroyed by taking damage, you gain temporary stamina equal 2dR + your constitution modifier.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Legion of One

Cost: 80 Character Points
Prerequisite: Reclaim Potential
Actions: 1

You can create two co-existing paradoxes with your Manifest Paradox feature. If you try to create a third paradox, the previous two paradoxes are destroyed. Anything that you can do from one paradox’s position can be done from the other’s.
