Hold the Line

Cost: 5 Character Points
Prerequisite: Combat Superiority

You become a master of locking down your enemies.

If you hit a creature with an Attack of Opportunity, then that creature’s speed is reduced to 0 until the end of the current turn.

Ferocious Charger

Cost: 10 Character Points
Prerequisite: Combat Superiority

You can run down your foes, whether you’re mounted or not.

You can perform a Charge using only 2 actions instead of 3. If your attack roll exceeds the target’s Strength defence, then it is knocked Prone.

Unwavering Mark

Cost: 25 Character Points
Prerequisite: Ferocious Charger

You can menace your foes, foiling their attacks and punishing them for harming others.

When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can mark that creature until the end of your next turn. This effect ends early if you are Incapacitated, if you die, or if somebody else marks the creature.

While it is within 5 feet of you, a creature marked by you has -1d on any attack roll that doesn’t target you.

Additionally, if your marked creature targets a creature other than you with an attack, then you have +1d to Strike your marked creature for the next round. On a hit, the Strike deals an extra 1dM damage.

Vigilant Defender

Cost: 30 Character Points
Prerequisite: Hold the Line

You respond to danger with extraordinary vigilance.

In combat, you may now make one Attack of Opportunity on each enemy creatures’ turn, rather than once per round.

Warding Maneuver

Cost: 65 Character Points
Prerequisite: Vigilant Defender

You learn to fend off strikes directed at you, your mount, or other creatures nearby.

While you are wielding a melee weapon, allied creatures that you can see within 5 feet of you benefit from +1d to their defences vs melee attacks.

While you are wielding a shield, allied creatures that you can see within 5 feet of you benefit from +1d to their defences vs melee and ranged attacks.
