Primal

Those druids that have learned the ways of primal druidism generally look to the beasts of the wild and the primordial elements for direction. Circle of the Primal druids are often found roaming their territory in the form of powerful animals, hunting and driving out trespassers. As their power grows, these druids call on the strength of the elements of earth, fire, water and wind to fuel their spells and ability to change shape.

Branch Features

Branch Spells

Once you can cast spells of the corresponding level, you may spend character points equal to twice the spell’s level to have that spell always prepared. Spells bought in this manner don’t count against the number of spells that you can prepare.

If you have a branch spell that doesn’t appear on the Divine Spell List, that spell is nevertheless a divine spell for you.

Enhanced Beast Shape

Cost: 5 Character Points
Prerequisite: Wild Shape
Actions: 1

Your devotion to the beast within allows you to become more powerful animals.

Your Beast Shape spell is modified as follows:

  • You can cast the spell with 1 action.
  • When you roll damage for your form’s natural unarmed Strike, you deal additional damage equal to 1dM.
  • For the spell’s duration, you gain a bonus to your Constitution score equal to the amount of mana expended.

Additionally, while you are transformed by Beast Shape, you can use 1 action to expend 1 or more mana to recover 1dR stamina per mana spent. The maximum amount of mana that you may spend on a single recovery is equal to the maximum level of spells that you can cast.

Primal Strike

Cost: 20 Character Points
Prerequisite: 3rd Level Spells and Enhanced Wild Shape

The claws and teeth of your beast shapes have been imbued with the divine power of nature.

When you Strike while you are transformed using your Wild Shape, those attacks are considered to be magical.

Elemental Body

Cost: 30 Character Points
Prerequisite: 5th Level Spells and Primal Strike

The elements of the world are now part of your being.

You learn the Elemental Body spell. You always have it prepared and it doesn’t count against the number of spells that you can prepare each day.

Mutable Body

Cost: 50 Character Points
Prerequisite: 7th Level Spells and Elemental Wild Shape
Actions: 2

You have learned how to control your ability to change your shape in a fine detail.

You can cast Alter Self at will.
